The Recycling Consultant is a UK based sole trader specialising in all aspects of the Waste Management industry. I am a Charted Member of the Institute of Waste Management C.I.W.M, hold a WAMITAB certificate at Level 4 High Risk Operator Competence for Managing Transfer of Hazardous Waste and I also hold a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) for National Road Haulage Operations.
With over 40 years in the Waste Management Industry I have been involved in all aspects of the industry, from Waste Audits, innovative collection methods, National one off Waste Projects, Vehicle Design & purchase, Collection, Landfill, Incineration, Transfer, Recycling Plants and SRF & RDF production. Most recently I have been involved in the sourcing of suitable feedstock materials and the sale of recovered materials.
COTC, WAMITAB or TCM (technically competent management) cover is a legal requirement for permitted waste sites to have a technically competent person to meet the minimum attendance time on a site so that any risks to the environment are properly managed. I am certified to Hazardous Transfer Level 4 (Transfer Station taking Hazardous Waste) and are available for short term, intermittent and long term site cover. I am also able to offer regular scheduled monitoring of closed landfill sites to include gas monitoring boundary fencing & other monitoring as determined by the site permit/Licence.

We have extensive contacts and are able to place surplus materials on either a short or long term basis, likewise are you experiencing a short term shortage of feedstock either municipal solid waste or source segregated materials we are able to source additional materials.
